80 Hours

This work is the result of eighty hours of temporal seclusion.  The project consisted of the artist being sealed in a room for eighty hours without any means of timekeeping other than himself. He created one drawing per hour relying only on his inner clock as a duration indicator.  He used Kandinsky's emotive color theory as a guide within his drawings to indicate his current mood state.  After the project’s completion, a timeline was created based on a streaming video from inside the room documenting his temporally unhindered bodily rhythms.  This project was conducted in accordance to a study of the human body’s reaction to the natural progression of time.
